Mark Whaley - Owner / Advisor

After graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in Business, Mark moved to the West Coast where he spent 18 years in the Northern California and Seattle markets. Mark moved to North Texas in 2004. He currently resides in Pilot Point, TX. 

Marks career has primarily been in management of branch operations for national construction supply and subcontracting businesses. 

  • 2018-2023: Director of M&A for TopBuild Corporation. TopBuild is the largest insulation contractor and distributor in the US with annual revenues of over $5B.
  • 2012-2018: Regional VP for USI - Mark led branch operations for multiple markets in the Western US and Texas. USI had annual operating revenue of over $350M when acquired by TopBuild.
  • 1987-2011: BMC Building Materials – Mark was a Sr. VP in charge of all Texas operations. Regional annual operating revenue of over $750M.
